JIM LAABs MUSIC - AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS

(1) I bought a guitar case from them - and then realized they do not accept returns. They only do exchanges for store credit. This is not that big of a deal. It isn't great customer service, but not a deal breaker either.

(2) I get an email from them one month later for an order I did not make, for a $22 harmonica. I respond immediately, explaining to them that I never made an order, much less for a harmonica. I tell them to not send the item, to cancel the order. Then 5 days later, I get a package from Jim Laabs Musical Scam Artists. They never responded to my email. They at least should have told me that the item had already been sent, and that they would send me a return label, and would credit me for the purchase. Instead, I called my credit card company and they are going to take care of it for me. Now THAT is customer service.

(3) Unfortunately, I realized after the fact that there are NUMEROUS people that have had similar experiences with these scam artists. So please, do everyone a favor and avoid this service-averse business who have no idea what customer service is. They clearly need to learn a lesson. By avoiding them, perhaps they will get the message and change their policies to be more focused on the customer.

(4) Check out these reviews for tens (maybe hundreds) of experiences similar to my own, many much worse than mine:
